Welcome to MSA.....

 

Midwest Sign Association (MSA) is a regional trade association serving the custom, commercial, and production on-premise sign industry in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. In addition to sign company members, sign wholesalers, sign supply distributors, product manufacturers, and product manufacturers reps. belong to MSA as associate members.

MSA Summer Meeting

The MSA Summer Meeting will be June 13-14, at the DoubleTree By Hilton, South Bend, Ind.  In Selling at 90 Below Zero "Antarctic Mike" (Mike Pierce) will show how you and your sales team can develop ways to drive new business from brand new customers to your sign company.  Mike uses historic stories from Antarctic expeditions, as well as his own adventures there, to showcase the points of the program.  And then, during the Working Lunch you'll hear an update on what's happening with the Signage Foundation, Inc. (SFI), in How the New SFI Research Can Improve Your Business.  Networking events include a golf scramble at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame, the famous course that is right on the Notre Dame campus.

 

Safety Meeting Outlines

Sign company members of MSA are entitled to receive weekly manufacturing and construction Safety Meeting Outlines, plus access to an online library of meetings on topics of your choice.  Contact MSA for more information.

ISA Publishes Position Statements

ISA has published a new tool for educating local officials on sign codes.  Its Position Statement Publication explains what the sign association believes on key sign code and legislative issues.  It is available in print and online versions.  This grassroots tool can help sign companies educate local officials on 14 important subjects, including aesthetics, effective sign illumination, signs and driver behavior, and how signs affect economic development.

 

ISA Offers Safety Program Guidelines

ISA has created a Safety Program Development Guidelines CD-ROM, updated to ensure it is current with OSHA requirements.

ISA and The New York State Small Business Development Center Unveil a New Web Site

The site, www.whatsyoursignage.com, delivers valuable information on signage to small businesses. It includes detailed information on the value signs bring to business, advice on selecting effective signage and an online portal for users to find local sign companies.
